Pam Ledet
 

Pamela Brown-Ledet has been an educator for over two decades, and plans to
retire in May, 2023. Her passion is teaching young children to enjoy reading by
introducing them to a variety of genres of literature. She is an author, and has
published her first children’s book, entitled, Things You Should Know Before I Go, a
tribute to her only child, Matthew. She has been elected Elementary School
Teacher of the Year two times, and District Elementary Teacher of the Year Finalist
in her suburban Austin school district. When not teaching, she serves as
Pflugerville Local President of ATPE (Association of Texas Professional Educators),
and the Community Engagement Director of the Colours Program.
