What We Offer

The Dr. James Polk Academy conducts a dozen youth programs involving technology, performing arts, culinary arts, financial literacy, personal and cultural empowerment, and more.

The Colours Program empowers Black girls of color by teaching them important skills.

Student chefs explore their love of food and build their skills.

Drumline participants learn to play a percussion instrument as part of a musician community.

STEAM is an educational approach that uses STEM and Arts disciplines.

The youth orchestra is an opportunity for talented students to expand their musical skills.
