Marjorie Proutt

Marjorie Proutt has been married for 36 years and is the mother of two children, one stepson and one granddaughter.

Marjorie is a retired teacher of 30 years. She graduated from Huston Tillotson University in 1979, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a minor in History.

She enjoys fishing, crafting, watching Hallmark movies and learning about African American History.

The last 7 years Marjorie has been involved in The COLOURS Program, sharing African American History with the young ladies.
